Skuba was founded out of a deep love for real food, for food that is fresh, healthy, and authentic. We only use real ingredients here at Skuba. Farm fresh eggs, organic tomatoes, fresh fish, and meats sourced from local suppliers and traceable sources. We strive to make each and every dish a wholesome expression of our love for food, life, and living. 

The menu for Skuba was conceived by our award-winning chef, Jack Williams. Jack has worked at top Hotels and Michelin starred restaurants for over 12 years and has cooked for famous food critics as well as numerous celebrities. Over the past two decades, our small bar/restaurant has blossomed into a thriving food establishment with a reputation for quality. With indoor and outdoor seating, room for families, parties and even crowds. (Yes, we do catering...just ask us!) 

Skuba Bar is situated directly opposite the Leas Cliff Hall, convenient for anyone attending an event or show who would like a meal or some drinks beforehand.

Skuba Bar is renowned in Folkestone as a popular local bar with a great vibe and friendly bar staff. With a vast selection of good value, quality dishes on the Skuba Bistro menu, a spacious beer garden, a heated terrace area and a cosy downstairs cocktail bar/restaurant, Skuba is THE place to go!!!

Skuba Bistro

All of the ingredients we use here at Skuba Bistro are just that: local. We stock our restaurant kitchen in much the same way that we stock our home kitchen, with daily deliveries of fresh ingredients that we select ourselves, at market each morning. 

In addition to our menu items, we also offer daily specials inspired by seasonal ingredients, the weather and how we are feeling. We are always on the lookout for new sources of ideas and inspiration, so when we travel the world (which we admit, we do often) we bring back our favourite flavours and culinary discoveries.
